How you make a difference

The Regional Vice President (RVP) is the senior field operating leader responsible for overseeing employee and talent management, executive-level client relationships, clinical quality, and regional P&L management. The RVP ensures the delivery of high-quality medical and mental health services to inmates by effectively allocating healthcare funds, while also supporting business development to drive regional growth. Leading a diverse team, the RVP acts as a key liaison between the region and the home office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder commitments.



Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor, coach, and support direct reports while identifying training needs, and evaluating and developing opportunities for staff, ensuring a cohesive and supportive work environment.
  • Monitor clinical and operating metrics, ensure compliance with contracts, policies, procedures, and regulations, and manage staffing, licensure, and credentialing requirements.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on clinical quality metrics and key performance indicators, evaluate operational efficiency, and implement improvements to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial statements, create and maintain budgets and forecasts, and ensure key operating metrics, including labor, supply, and pharmacy costs, are met to achieve financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with corporate support functions and clients to maintain contract obligations, support recruitment efforts, participate in business development activities, and serve as a backup to regional managers in key meetings.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in delivery and administration of multi-site management.
  • Experience in correctional medical, dental, and mental health care preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • NCCHC-CCHP certification required or in process
