The Compensation Director leads the design and execution of compensation programs that align with company strategy and compliance standards. This role oversees base pay, incentive plans, job evaluation, market pricing, and board-level reporting. The director collaborates with executives and HR leaders to support talent strategies and manage annual compensation cycles. They also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guide compensation-related RFPs. The role is central to attracting and retaining talent across clinical and non-clinical roles.
Lead compensation strategy, planning, and program execution across the organization
Oversee job evaluations, market pricing, and salary administration
Collaborate with executives and HR to align compensation with business goals
Ensure compliance with compensation laws, regulations, and pay equity practices
Manage compensation cycles and provide support for recruitment, retention, and RFPs
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, or related field
Master’s degree is preferred
EXPERIENCE
5–7 years of experience in compensation plan design and administration
2+ years leading and managing a compensation team
Experience in corporate and executive compensation plans, incentive plans, and pay structures is strongly preferred
Experience preparing executive level and board presentations is strongly preferred
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Experience with a distributed workforce is preferred
Experience supporting clinical and non-clinical roles a plus
Deep knowledge of compensation regulations and best practices
Proficiency with compensation tools and systems
Prior experience leading a compensation committee preferred
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred
