The Regional Manager of Kentucky Department of Corrections (KYDOC) is responsible for overseeing and managing the back-office operations within the KY Regional Office, including claims processes, KY DOC operational workflows, operational audits, report development, medical records, IT projects, billing processes, and equipment inventories. They will provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure efficient and effective operations, compliance with established policies and procedures, and achievement of performance goals. The Regional Manager will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to streamline processes, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence within the region.
• Manages and oversees all processes associated with claims payments, including billing processes with outside providers, and acts as the CCS liaison for all KY DOC IT projects.
• Develops and implements operational workflows for KY DOC, conducts audits to ensure compliance, and reports on internal and external developments.
• Oversees medical records activities and manages client relations with the KY DOC IT team to ensure smooth operations.
• Manages CCS equipment inventories throughout the KY DOC and attends monthly IT strategy meetings to stay updated on IT initiatives.
• Regularly reports to the CCS VP of Business Services regarding KY DOC IT projects and issues, leveraging CCS IT processes and project management methodology as appropriate.
