The Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the current state of the business, gathering requirements for new solutions, and performing gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiencies. They will provide recommendations based on their analysis to help the organization achieve its business goals and objectives. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure that their recommendations align with the overall strategy of the organization. 



Additional Details

This role reports onsite to our Arkansas DOC Regional Office located in Pine Bluff, AR.

This role focuses on both Business Analyst duties and Administrative duties. The ideal candidate possesses experience in an administrative assistant type role.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • College degree in Finance or related degree. 

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a role demonstrating business system and financial analysis.  Strong written communication skills & ability to clearly articulate analysis and recommendations to both financial & operations teams.  Strong MS Office, including Excel, skills.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and generate reports, including contractually required and ad-hoc reports based on operational and client needs, while conducting trend and root cause analyses using financial and utilization data.
  • Investigate and report on items in claims and accounts payable systems to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and prepare reports to assist with business planning and contract analysis.
  • Assist in creating project plans, including detailed work plans and timelines, and oversee projects through completion by tracking, monitoring, reporting, and administering project progress.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and implemented solutions.
