This position seeks to effect changes in a person's environment and in a person's ability to deal with his/her environment, so as to facilitate improvement in symptoms or personal distress.
In addition, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist works with clients, their families, conservators, internal and external stakeholders to address concerns or special needs that may arise during their course of treatment within the facility. staff member to bring about the most effective treatment and positive experience for the clients.
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist ensures compliance with department protocols, policies, guidelines, and facility standards, and assists with the implementation of daily operations, activities, and clinical support of the clients

In addition, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist works with clients, their families, conservators, internal and external stakeholders to address concerns or special needs that may arise during their course of treatment within the facility. The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist works directly with various members of the healthcare team, facility departments, and administration to solve problems that client, families, conservators, internal and external stakeholders may have with the goal of facilitating a positive client experience during their time at the facility. The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist Support Liaison acts as a direct care staff member to bring about the most effective treatment and positive experience for the clients.

Under the direction of the Health Services Administrator (HSA), Program Manager (PM), or higher licensed health professional, the Jail Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) Clinician is a licensed, Masters prepared clinician (LMFT/LCSW) who is primarily responsible for the clinical support component of the JBCT program. The Clinician will utilize multiple therapeutic techniques (eg: CBT, MBSR, etc.) to lead daily/weekly psycho-educational groups which support competency restoration (eg: anxiety management). The Clinician is the primary clinical staff and also meets individually with patients on a daily/weekly basis to support treatment and facilitate mental stability, as it relates to competency restoration and overall well-being.
The Social Worker Master’s Level NBH independently assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients from a clinical and psychosocial perspective and provides group and family therapeutic interventions, and makes professional judgments of clinical and psychosocial needs. Advocates for patients with Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) and other community stakeholders. Functions independently to coordinate all aspects of discharge and educates self as to relevant legal issues related to patient care. Keeps current with developments in clinical approaches, negotiates effective communication between the recovery team and families, guardians, and community providers.

Assists in arrangements for coverage of medical services if unavailable for extended period of time.
Our Post-Doctoral Psychology Resident conducts individual and group psychotherapy sessions, provides staff education on psychological issues and conducts psychological evaluations and psychological testing. This position is also is an active member of the treatment team.

Our Custody Officer (CO) is responsible for maintaining proper security and safety standards for all patients under his/her control. Must make security checks and inspections of the entire working environment and correct or report to the proper authority all shortcomings and deficiencies. Must prepare written reports of daily activities, and written reports of disciplinary infractions, accidents and incidents. Must develop and maintain a professional rapport with all patients, his/her supervisors and other employees in the working environment.
Under the direction of the Regional Psychiatric Director, the Psychiatrist DSH is a licensed Psychiatrist in the State of employment who is responsible for assessing and prescribing medication for up to 35 mentally-ill and Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) patients in the RTC program. The Psychiatrist DSH will remain in compliance with the Department of State Hospital (DSH) Policy & Procedure (P&P) manual.
